My client is looking for a competent pre-sales consultant experienced in supporting sales of entry level to complex HP storage solutions.
Main Activities - Not limited to:
- Technically manage a small number of key accounts
- Work directly with customer prospects to learn and document business challenges
- Develop and deliver customer specific presentations
- Design viable storage solutions that meet customer requirements
- Apply knowledge of competing vendor storage systems
- Develop statement of work and work with customers to finalise sales
- HP Storage subject matter expert
- Work with sales teams and marketing to evangelise specialist product sets and support their adoption in the market.
- Maintain an exceptional level of skills in HP Storage
Key Skills
- Minimum of 3 years recent experience in HP storage pre-sales
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Ability to pick up new skills and work with new processes, learn and assit
- Strong technical capability in enterprise storage systems, fibre channel, ISCSI SAN and NAS infrastructure design, and enterprise backup capability.
- An understanding of high availability and disaster recovery technologies
- Excellent sales and presentation skills
Desirable skills:
- Experience in storage management software and virtualisation technologies
- Experience designing information management solutions
